Prudent,dual-qualified and highly experienced Maritime/ Technical Professional offer 25+ years of cross-functional experience on board a wide range of vessels/ rigs globally. Brings management & technical expertise in supporting dynamic positioning (DP) drilling operations, BOP Well Control, Sat/ Air dive, ROV/AUV, cable/ pipe laying, subsea construction/ installation/ seismic operations,underwater intervention tasks, towing & vessel complex/ ice navigation/pilotage. Experienced in a wide variety of instructions in Marine/ Drilling Assurance/ Warranty, Risk Management and Marine Casualty fields. Instructed by,and reported to, leading oil & gas majors, vessel owners/ operators,charterers and underwriters in the hull and machinery, P&I, superheavy-lift/ project cargo insurance markets and have undertaken work for admiralty attorneys, and marine/ drilling management companies worldwide.

Nikolas has been responsible for the oversight and/ or management of many of the world’s largest and most high-profile marine warranty/ survey projects and served as Client Rep. globally. He is actively engaged in high-profile/ value claims involving MODU and other energy assets.

Nikolas is well-versed in operations, project management, logistics, business development, quality & security, with a demonstrated commitment to safety.He has a great deal of expertise in DP & power management (PM) systems,marine & offshore drilling operations, sub-sea installations/ construction project management, marine assurance, emergency shutdown/ disconnect systems,BOP scope of work assessments and FMEA's while his broad experience is highly valued by clients from almost every sector of the maritime and energy industries. These include maritime management and energy companies, P&I Clubs, marine and energy insurers, ship owners and charterers, admiralty lawyers and government bodies. He develop long-standing relationships with clients, who appreciate his professionalism, high level of safety, and above all his ability to respond quickly and efficiently to all urgent matters.

In 2009, Nikolas was the recipient of the Jerald Butler Scholarship Award from St. John's Marine Institute of Memorial University of Newfoundland, Canada and has been honoured by His Royal Highnesses Prince Charles and Duchess of Cornwall.

Additionally, he is an accredited OCIMF-OVID Auditor and Associate Member ofMarine Technology Society (MTS) Houston.

Currently he is committed to deserve his subsea engineering credentials within Lloyd’s Register Energy Drilling and in process of obtaining Texas all lines(concentrated in Marine) Adjuster
