Has 21 years experience in the maritime industry in both deck and engine departments, having sailed on tankers, dry cargo, research, tugs and supply vessels. He is a Cum Laude graduate of Texas A&M University, with specialization in Admiralty Law, Marine Insurance, Naval Architecture and Port Operations. As a Marine Surveyor he has carried out surveys, inspections and investigations of collisions, groundings, sinkings, pollution, personal injuries, fatalities, engineering casualties, steel, grain, petroleum, cotton, pharmaceutical and chemical cargoes, condition and valuation surveys, on/off hire surveys, surveys of polar passenger vessels, among others, all on behalf of Shipowners, Charterers, P&I Associations and Underwriters
