Sharron has over 40 years of experience in the handling of cargo claims in both the London and US markets. Her career began in the London market as a Lloyds Broker (Claims) and she spent the next ten years expanding her knowledge and specializing in the marine cargo discipline. During this time she obtained her Associateship with the Chartered Insurance Institute in the subject of Marine Insurance. In 1988 she was invited to join the (then) Lloyds claims office as a Cargo Claims Adjuster handling all manner of losses on behalf of the London market. Sharron joined Matthews Matson and Kelley in 1994 at the invitation of the owner of the company and remained with that operation for 17 years through its change of ownership (to the CSL Group) rising to the position of Senior Vice President (Adjusting and Recoveries) for the CSL Group. In 2011 Sharron left the employ of CSL, with her team, to join MiCAS as the Principal Adjuster. In 2025 Sharron joined Southern Marine (now Starwind Marine + Energy) to lead their Cargo & Stock Throughput division through her in depth insurance and adjusting knowledge.
